When I paint the blues

I paint to music, guitar music in particular, because music is non-objective - ideas, feelings, shapes, colours. It so happens that my son Andrew McFarland is a blues guitarist and provides the soundtracks to my videos.  Click 'full screen', sit back and watch art being made.

Making Non-Objective Art

The making of 'Terrain'; acrylic on stone paper.

The making of 'Shores'; acrylic on canvas, texture added with pumice.
